How to Turn WordPress Posts Into AI Voiceovers for Video Production

This video script was narrated using WordWave Premium, just one of the many things you can do with downloadable audio!

WordWave can generate downloadable AI narration from WordPress content, which can then be reused for:

  • WooCommerce product explainers
  • YouTube narration
  • faceless videos
  • podcasts
  • accessibility audio
  • social media clips
  • course narration

Steps for creating an AI voiceover video using your blog and WordWave (OpenAI or ElevenLabs text-to-speech):

Write a video script.

  1. Publish the script in a blog post, without any notes, such as a timekeeping or visual cues.
  2. Back in your WordWave Premium plugin settings, select a voice and style that matches the tone, audience, and pacing of your video.
  3. Generate audio for the post, then download the audio file.
  4. Listen to the audio file to make sure it sounds right and that the file wasn’t distorted during downloading. If you run into issues, try downloading it again or regenerating the audio from your WordWave plugin narrations tab.
  5. Create a video in your chosen video editor and add your WordWave audio to it.
  6. Post your video to YouTube. It’s also a great workflow for creating Instagram, Facebook Stories, TikTok, and instructional videos.

Tips:

Edit the audio to remove the blog meta such as the title and date, and if appropriate the intro and outro. This will cut the duration down by quite a bit.

Adjust the audio speed using an editor, or by selecting a different voice or voice style and generating new audio. For example, OpenAI’s storytelling style speaks slower with pauses compared to other styles. That’s the one I used in this video.

Use the sync feature (if available) in your video editor to closely match the video with the audio pacing and transitions.

I used Canva for this video along with Awesome Shot to take screen grabs of the plugin.

I hope it comes out great! And if you have any questions about using WordWave we are here to help. The premium plugin includes tech support with our team here in the US.
